European Film Club

Led by the European FIlm Academy, the European Film Club is a club facilitating young people’s engagement with film. We handled their social media, viral content creation, and covered Cannes Film Festival with video interviews and footage.

In the last 3 months of the project, we achieved these results on Instagram:

397,500 accounts reached

45,639 accounts engaged

+27.9% increase in followers

While working with EFC, we created video content, graphics, and copywriting, informed by our knowledge of what would work best among the young people that the organisation targets. A fully Gen Z team was assigned to this project to ensure the brand’s content was created by the people who are its target audience: Gen Zers with a passion for cinema and the film industry. Our team went to Cannes Film Festival 2024 as EFC’s media partner to cover the festival and our campaign, “We Love European Film”, through hours of daily footage, interviews with actors and film enthusiasts, photos, and videos of people engaging with the film industry.

Our best-performing video idea and carefully chosen caption hook received 5 million views and over 400,000 likes, significantly boosting the brand’s followers and engagement.

We balanced the Twitter presence by launching the brand on
TikTok as well, where fancam-style content and snippets from
old YouTube videos by Sugarscape targeted the old fans (always
organically), and started spreading Sugarscape's community
across platforms.

" Working with The Z Link has been one of the best collaborations we’ve ever had. From day one, their team seamlessly integrated with ours- jumping into our Slack, configuring, building, and executing with impressive speed and precision. Their deep expertise, proactive approach, and all-around great energy made the entire process effortless and incredibly effective. The Stacklist team couldn't more impressed and look forward to future collaborations."
